The West Hants community has an amazing opportunity to help create a progressive, dynamic and healthy environment for the children at the Windsor Day Care Centre.

The Board members of the Windsor Day Care Society are very pleased and excited to announce that financing has been secured to finally build a brand new purpose built facility to house the Windsor Day Care Centre. We are scheduled to break ground the first week of May and are actively asking for support from the community to help us reach our fund raising goals. Our new facility is being built in a perfect spot.....right behind the Windsor Library on Victoria Street.

The goal of the Windsor Day Care Society Capital Campaign, is to raise $325,000. This campaign will enable the Windsor Day Care to better achieve its goals by alleviating the burden of a monthly mortgage payment, which will be difficult to carry in these tough economic times.

This is the first time in its 36 year history that the Windsor Day Care Society has looked to the community to help fund a formal campaign. There are several ways you can make a donation and they include: sending a cheque by mail, using our secure PayPal link right on this website and by visiting any Valley branch of the Royal Bank. Charitable receipts will be issued for all donations over $10.

 You may also purchase a tile in memory of someone you love for $50. The tile will be inscribed and placed on our “Memory Wall” in our new Centre.
